Corporate sponsors are a necessity to our team. We are always in need of the support to help make robotics accessible to all interested students. Robotics offers so many great opportunities to prepare students for college and careers. Unfortunately it requires a great amount of funding to keep this opportunity open to all students. To enter a regional competition and purchase a kit of parts, it costs about $6,000. To enter the international competition, it costs about $5,000 plus the costs of transporting the entire team and shipping the robot. Our team’s annual operating budget is $30,000.
 
We also rely on corporate sponsors for other forms of support. The corporate sponsors help by supplying mentors(who are similar to teachers and are very valuable to us), materials, and software, so that we are able to program our robot and create computer versions of the robot.
