Make sure you tap them on the shoulder before speaking to ensure they hear you, but avoid pushing someone out of the way. But, if someone that is not expected runs out in front of the robot, pushing them out of the way would be for their own safety. Make sure your robot escorts are easy to see. A bright vest is a great way to ensure this. Teams use flashing sticks and other light-up objects, but make sure they are not too bright or shining in people’s eyes. Always keep light-sticks aimed down if possible.
