Gracious professionalism is a main motto of the FIRST Robotics Competition. Gracious professionalism emphasizes the value of others, respect for the community and teammates, and a high quality of work. While treating others with kindness and respect, we learn and compete intensely. We avoid treating anyone disrespectfully, and there are no boastful behaviors or sugar-coated situations. At competitions we exemplify this ideology by handing out safety packets and answering questions anyone has about them. We will always be willing to lend spare parts or help opposing teams fix their robots at competitions.
 
During many regionals we have personally participated in or seen many great examples of Gracious Professionalism. The students on C.O.R.E 2062 have learned to understand that when we are on the field its not about winning, but working together to reach the same goal.
